Wastewatchers

Wastewatchers is a flexible holiday club resource from Scripture Union (new window) that explores the themes of God's creation, caring for the environment and Jesus transforming lives.

The holiday club included craft, games, songs and drama by the church youth group. The environmental theme to Wastewatchers gave the older children the chance to make bird boxes something they had not done before and clear the area around the chapel. They had collected 30 bags of rubbish just as a dustcart appeared along the road!

The children all turned up with their families on Easter Sunday, which featured a clear gospel message. They finished with an Easter egg hunt.
