Breaking of Bread / Communion

Every Sunday (except first 1st sunday of the month)
9:45 am- 10:30 am @ Netherfield Chapel

Each Sunday at Netherfield Chapel, believers meet together to remember the Lord in the Breaking of Bread or, as some call it, Communion. This  is an informal spirit-led time of fellowship.

This, we believe, follows the scriptural pattern of the church coming together on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7) to remember the significance of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection (Luke 22:19 and 1 Corinthians 11:24-25) by partaking of the common elements, bread and wine.

On the first sunday of each month a short time is usually set aside during the 11:00 am Family Service for this simple ceremony.
