Statement of Faith / Core Values

1. We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. It is entirely trustworthy and authoritative and through it God speaks to his people.
2. We believe in one eternally existent triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – who created the world and has a deep concern for the salvation of its people.
3. We believe that everyone falls short of God’s standards and deserves punishment for their sin. God’s son, Jesus Christ, was sent from heaven, lived a sinless life and took the punishment for our sin when he died on the cross. We believe that he broke the barrier between God and mankind and made it possible for us to know God personally.
4. We believe that Jesus conquered death when he rose from the grave. Those who believe in him will live eternally with him in heaven. Those who do not believe will face separation from God for eternity.
5. We believe that God calls us to live our lives with him in control. We cannot do this in our own strength, so God sent his Holy Spirit to live inside us and in this way he enables us to do his will.
